U.S. Army Sgt. Wesley Bergerson from the 1st Battalion 118th Infantry Regiment, 218th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade, South Carolina National Guard, participates in a six-mile ruck march as part of a Best Warrior Competition selection board in North Charleston, South Carolina, Oct. 23, 2016. The selection board for the competition consisted of four voting members evaluating candidates’ skills and knowledge in areas such as the Army Physical Fitness Test, land navigation, self-aid and buddy care, Army programs and current events.
