ARABIAN GULF (Oct. 22, 2016) Seaman Cesar Santana performs corrosion prevention maintenance on an F/A-18C Hornet assigned to the Wildcats of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 131 in the hangar bay of the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) (Ike). Santana works as an aviation machinist's mate aboard the ship. Ike and its Carrier Strike Group are deployed in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
