ARABIAN GULF (Oct. 21, 2016) Seaman Jason Barnes, from Tillamook, Ore., conducts scheduled maintenance on the forward-looking infrared camera on an MH-60R Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to the Swamp Foxes of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 74 in the hangar bay of the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) (Ike). Barnes works aboard Ike as an aviation electronics technician and is responsible for maintenance and repairs on the helicopter. Ike and its Carrier Strike Group are deployed in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
