FORT IRWIN, Calif. – Soldiers from the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment and The National Training Center conducted a walk and rally to end domestic violence at Fort Irwin, Calif., Oct. 17, 2016. The walk was intended to bring a greater awareness to the fact that every nine seconds, a woman is abused in their home. October has been designated as Domestic Violence Awareness Month since 1989, when the U.S. Congress passed a law designating it as such. (U.S. Army Photo by Pvt. Austin Anyzeski, 11th ACR)
