Bedford, Va. resident, Maj. Timothy Brooke, and 1st Sgt. Joseph Winchester, from Charlotte, N.C., display their unit's Welcome Home plaque and Yellow Banner upon its return from a deployment to Iraq during a ceremony at Army Support Activity-Dix's B Company June 1. Their unit, B Company, 422nd Civil Affairs Battalion, is an Army Reserve organization from Greensboro, N.C., that mobilized from Dix last June. The Yellow Banner is given to units who mobilize through ASA-Dix as a symbolic gesture that they are in the thoughts and well-wishes of the ASA-Dix community. The banner is hung in Infantry Park while the unit is deployed and given back to the organization upon its return from combat.
