Team Beale hosted a Hispanic Heritage Month taster's choice at Beale Air Force Base, California, Oct. 7, 2016. Hispanic Heritage Month is dedicated to Americans who trace their culture from Spanish speaking countries in the Americas, the Caribbean, and Spain. Hispanic Heritage Month begins September 15th and runs until October 15th. The day it begins is to commemorate the anniversary of independence for Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua. Mexico and Chile's anniversary of independence falls on September 16th and September 18th, respectively. Beale's celebration featured food from Venezuela, Mexico, Colombia, Nicaragua, and Peru.
