U.S. Marines with Special-Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force Crisis Response-Africa (SPMAGTF-CR-AF), conduct small arms fire team training at Arta, Djibouti., Oct. 5, 2016. Assigned to Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa, SPMAGTF-CR-AF completed team level range drills to continue sustainment of core skills and build from individual skill levels. The next level of training will consist of squad training. Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa is a multinational effort to conduct theater security cooperation, combat violent extremism and enable freedom of movement within East Africa in order to defend U.S. interests and support aligned regional efforts.
