U.S.Soldiers of Bravo Company, 3rd Battalion, 15th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division check their names off a manifest list at Hunter Army Airfield, Ga., Oct. 11, 2016. Soldiers of B Co. served as the East Africa Response Force at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti for eight months in support of U.S. Africa Command and the Combined Joint Task Force – Horn of Africa. Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa is a multinational effort to conduct theater security cooperation, combat violent extremism and enable freedom of movement within East Africa in order to defend U.S. interests and support aligned regional efforts.
