Sgt. Christopher Falls, a parachute rigger with 1st Reconnaissance Headquarters company, 1st Marine Division, packs a multi-mission parachute system during a free-fall training aboard Camp Pendleton, Calif., Oct. 4, 2016. Once Marines land on the objective, they swiftly pack the MMPS to avoid being noticed by enemy forces. 1st Marine Division is employed as the ground combat element of I Marine Expeditionary Force and provides the ground combat forces necessary for ship to shore forcible entry operations.
