ARABIAN GULF (Oct. 10, 2016) Seaman Joshua Keele, from Buckley, Wash., welds a stancheon in the machinery repair shop of the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) (Ike). Buckley serves aboard Ike as a hull maintenance technician and helps build, repair and maintain Ike's machinery. Ike and its Carrier Strike Group are deployed in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
