Pfc. Joseph Capparelli and Sgt. Thomas Linville,Outlaw Troop, 4th Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment, showcase their camouflage capabilities during Slovak Shield 2016 training Oct. 4, 2016 at Military Training Area Lest, Slovak Republic. Having effective camouflage is vital to the capability of U.S. and allied troops during training or a NATO mission. U.S. Soldiers are participating in Slovak Shield as part of Atlantic Resolve, a U.S. led effort being conducted in Eastern Europe to demonstrate U.S. commitment to the collective security of NATO and dedication to enduring peace and stability in the region.
