Family members of fallen hero Army Sgt. Manderro D. Crump display a commemorative shirt to show their loved one’s service during Mississippi College’s “Mississippi’s Fallen Heroes Day” Oct. 8, 2016, at the school’s Robinson-Hale Stadium in Clinton, Miss. Sgt. Crump, of Clinton, Miss., died in 2002. The college recognized “Mississippi’s Fallen Heroes Day” during a game with West Florida.
