A packet containing 10 grams of VectoLex WSP, a selective microbial insecticide that kills mosquito larva, slowly dissolves in a puddle of standing water Oct. 6, 2016, in the Dover Family Housing area, Dover Air Force Base, Del. VectoLex WSP can effectively control mosquito species known to carry and/or transmit the West Nile Virus.
