Oct. 6. Sand and other Navy personnel from Charleston were evacuated to Fort
Jackson as Hurricane Matthew bears down on the East Coast. Sand said he was
part of a group of sailors 'fresh' to Charleston, but were 'sent back to
boot camp.' He added he hopes 'no one does anything stupid to get us yelled at
