U.S. Navy Petty Officer Third Class Alyssa Melendez, attended a Veterans' Career Skills Seminar, at the Marines' Memorial Club and Hotel, during San Francisco Fleet Week, San Francisco, Calif., Oct. 4, 2016. Melendez is a hospital corpsman with USS San Diego (LPD 22). Marines and Sailors were invited to attend the seminar to meet successful veterans and employers and learn in-depth job seeking techniques. San Francisco Fleet Week is an annually occurring event where thousands of Marines and Sailors come to showcase the capabilities of the Navy-Marine Corps team to residents, and an opportunity for members of the sea services to meet and thank the community for its support.
