U.S. Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class AWS2 Nathan Gardner, 23, from Hesperia, Calif., celebrates his win after winning the title of Best Overall Show during the first body building competition ever to be held on Contingency Operating Base Basrah, Iraq, May 29. Gardner, an aviation rescue swimmer assigned to the 2515th Naval Air Ambulance Detachment dedicated himself to the intense four-week diet and exercise program, spear headed by Army National Guard Sgt. Mark Kring, of Albany N.Y., title holder of the 2002 men's heavyweight Ironman show in New York.
