Deployed U.S. servicemen participating in the first body building contest ever to be held on Contingency Operating Base Basrah, Iraq, pose on the stage before the judges and crowd May 29. Twenty-nine competitors participated in the intense four-week diet and exercise program, spear headed by Army National Guard Sgt. Mark Kring, of Albany, N.Y., and heavyweight title holder of the 2002 Ironman New York show.
