FORT CARSON, Colorado – Sgt. Joshua Balasa, a satellite communication system operator-maintainer with Company C, 588th Brigade Engineer Battalion, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, participates in the 9-mile ruck march as part of the Best Signal Warrior Competition 2016 at Fort Carson, Colorado, Sept. 22, 2016. Balasa placed second in the Best Signal Noncommissioned Officer portion of the competition, which also featured events like weapons qualification, a physical fitness test, and mission command tasks including combat radio proficiency, antenna setup and a written signal exam and essay.
