Riders of the team U.S. Navy Chiefs and Friends, take a brief break before crossing the Bay Bridge as part of the Dick Gelfman Ride Across Maryland 2010. RAM is in its 10th year and raises funds by requesting donations from friends, family and sponsorship from businesses. This year, the ride generated $300,000 and brought the Ride Across Maryland Foundation, Inc. to more than $2 million raised for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Maryland affiliate.
