Coast Guard members from units across the Coast Guard 13th District salute veterans aboard an airplane as it departs from the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, Sept. 24, 2016.

The Coast Guard members volunteered by setting up the check-in area, arranging wheel chairs to be available for the 52 veterans and assisting them to their airline gate before they took a plane to Washington, D.C., to visit memorials.
