General Dynamics Land Systems' Advanced Ground Mobility Vehicle sits on display June 8 at the Renewable Energy Rodeo and Symposium held in and around the Centennial Banquet and Conference Center at Fort Bliss, Texas, taking place through June 9. The tactical vehicle is hybrid-electric capable with in-hub electric drive. This vehicle and others were part of the inaugural event designed to help spread the ideas, tools and innovations ready to make Fort Bliss the Army's Center for Renewable Energy. The symposium presented a variety of energy technology demonstrations, several discussion panels and dozens of exhibitors, including Lockheed Martin, General Electric, Raytheon, Polaris Defense Industries, 3M Defense, Honeywell and others. The U.S. Army Tank Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Center co-hosted the symposium.
