The class provided Status of Forces Agreement personnel with the opportunity to experience Japanese traditions firsthand. Matcha is a powdered green tea that is customarily served during Japanese tea ceremonies. The students learned how to politely partake of tea and refreshments and how to prepare, present and serve the matcha.
