Recruits from Kilo Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, kneel on the yellow footprints during receiving at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Sept. 19. From here, recruits learned what articles of the Uniform Code of Military Justice pertain to them and what the consequences of breaking the regulations are while at recruit training. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Kilo Company is scheduled to graduate Dec. 16.
