A drill instructor from Golf Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, explains his expectations of the recruits while aboard Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Sept. 16. The recruits will spend their first day with their drill instructors learning the rules and regulations of recruit training, regarding everything from how to act in the squad bay to how to speak to drill instructors. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Golf Company is scheduled to graduate Dec. 9.
