Staff Sgt. Randall Farmer, a surveyor with the Installation Support Unit at Camp Atterbury Joint Maneuver Training Center in central Indiana, places rocks into cage-like structures called gabion baskets, which will serve as a wall along the riverbank of the Big Blue River Dam in Edinburgh, Ind. Farmer is helping the Warrant Officer Candidate Class at Camp Atterbury?s Regional Training Institute complete a community service project where they will reinforce that wall to keep floodwater from eroding the riverbank.
