Gero, a former military working dog, enjoys his retirement from the Army by playing tug-of-war at his home on Joint Base Lewis-McChord April 21 with his owner, Sgt. Gregg Enders, from Marine City, Mich. Enders, a narcotics dog handler with the 504th Military Police Brigade, adopted his former military working dog as part of the Department of Defense Military Working Dog Adoption Program.
