Katsuya Takagi, director, Personnel Department, JGSDF Northern Army, Sept. 9, 2016, in Camp Sapporo, Japan. Pomales visited Camp Sapporo to meet with his JGSDF Reserve Component partners to learn more about their vision, mission, capabilities and organization. Pomales and Takagi also shared best practices on how to overcome their respective command’s manpower challenges and improve relations between Reserve Component service members and their civilian employers.
