More than 500 people gathered for a unity conference in Al Hillah Aug. 20. Iraqi Security Force leadership, government officials from local and national offices, religious, social and tribal leaders all converged on the Iraqi police academy to pledge their commitment to a unified Babil province, denouncing sectarian violence and terrorism.
