A Status of Forces Agreement member enjoys a virtual thrill ride in a virtual reality attraction during the 22nd Annual Camp Hansen Festival Sept. 3 aboard Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan. The annual festival provides Okinawa residents with a taste of American culture and entertainment and is one of the quarterly open-gate events hosted by Camp Hansen that bridges the gap between SOFA personnel and Okinawa residents. More than 12,855 attendees of the two-day event enjoyed a vast array of ethnic foods, ride carnival rides, play games for prizes and enjoy a free concert by the American rock band, American Authors.
