CARTAGENA, Colombia (Sept. 12, 2016) - Lt. Ryan Cahill, assigned to Fleet Logistics Center San Diego, passes out snacks to local children. Lt. Cahill is currently deployed as part of Southern Partnership Station 2016’s (SPS 16) Construction Engagement Team in Cartagena constructing a new latrine building for the Cabildo Indigena Zenu community. Once completed the community will no longer rely on outhouse style facilities. SPS16 is an annual deployment of U.S. ships to the U.S. Southern Command's area of responsibility in the Caribbean and Latin America.
