CARTAGENA, Colombia (Sept. 12, 2016) - Utilities Constructionman Jesus Cedillo, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 133 (NMCB 133), checks to insure the proper slope for the drainage system that will serve a latrine building; which will include showers and sinks as well as toilets. NMCB 133 is in Cartagena constructing the new latrine for the Cabildo Indigena Zenu community, once completed the community will no longer rely on outhouse style facilities. This is just one of the projects NMCB 133 has worked on during Southern Partnership Station 2016 (SPS 16). SPS16 is an annual deployment of U.S. ships to the U.S. Southern Command's area of responsibility in the Caribbean and Latin America.
