Children enjoy a carnival ride during the 22nd Annual Camp Hansen Festival Sept. 3 aboard Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan. The annual festival provides Okinawa residents with a taste of American culture and entertainment and is one of the quarterly open-gate events hosted by Camp Hansen that bridges the gap between Status of Forces Agreement personnel and Okinawa residents. More than 12,855 attendees of the two-day event enjoyed a vast array of ethnic foods, ride carnival rides, play games for prizes and rock out to a free concert by the headlining band, American Authors.
