Marines give a mock demonstration of the operations of an 155 mm. artillery piece during the 22nd Annual Camp Hansen Festival Sept. 3 aboard Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan. The annual festival is one of the quarterly open-gate events hosted by Camp Hansen that bridges the gap between Status of Forces Agreement personnel and Okinawa residents. More than 12,855 attendees came together during the two-day event to enjoy a vast array of ethnic foods, ride carnival rides, play games for prizes and rock out to a free concert by the headlining band, American Authors. The Marines are with 1st Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment; currently assigned to 12th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force, under the unit deployment program.
