Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Alvin Meads, Assistant Lead Petty Officer on the Fabrication Production Line at Naval Ophthalmic Support and Training Activity was meritoriously promoted to his current rank through the Navy's new Meritorious Advancement Program (MAP). In FY 16, MAP was expanding to include eligible shore commands, Pre-Commissioning Units (PCUs) and Professional Apprenticeship Career Tract (PACT) Sailors. CAPT Mary Seymour, NMLC's commanding officer presents the certificate.
