WESTHAMPTON BEACH, NY - Pararescuemen from the 103rd Rescue Squadron and aircrew from the 101st Rescue Squadron conduct a personnel recovery demonstration at FS Gabreski Air National Guard Base on September 10, 2016.
The demonstration took part during Family Day, and involved Pararescuemen fastroping down from an HH-60 Pavehawk, recovering a simulated downed personnel, then using a rope ladder to return to the aircraft. Both the 101st RQS and 103rd RQS belong to the 106th Rescue Wing.
