Major General Paul Kennedy announces a new Marine Corps Recruiting Command initiative called the Semper Fidelis All-American Program during the Marine Corps Recruiting Command Kick-Off Banquet at The Bell Tower in Nashville, Tenn., Sept. 9, 2016. The new program is an evolution of the previously executed Semper Fidelis Football Program, which will send one man and woman from each of the Marine Corps’ 48 Recruiting Stations to the Battles Won Academy in Washington D.C. where they will earn the title Semper Fidelis All-American, next summer. For more information on the Semper Fidelis All-American Program and its Battles Won Academy, please visit sfaap.marines.com. The banquet was a part of Marine Week, a celebration of Community, Country and Corps that allows the public to learn about the Corps through hands-on static displays, live demonstrations, time-honored Marine Corps traditions, musical performances and more. Kennedy currently serves as the Commanding General of Marine Corps Recruiting Command.
