KANEOHE, Hawaii - Service members with Combat Logistics Battalion 3 receive a brief of construction plans during a project Sept. 2, 2016, at a lot in Kaneohe, Hawaii. The volunteers worked to build posts and the pre-foundation framing for a home as part of a project for Hawaii’s Habitat for Humanity Association. The association’s mission is not only to bring people together to build homes, but also to strengthen communities by working alongside those in need. To date, the organization has built, rehabilitated and refurbished more than 400 homes, many of which have benefited families and individuals here in Hawaii. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl.
