YAKIMA TRAINING CENTER, Wash. – A sniper from the 12th Regiment, Japanese Ground Self-Defense Force aims at a target from atop a shoot house at Yakima Training Center, Wash. Sept. 8 as part of the annual bilateral exercise Rising Thunder. The JGSDF service members observed Soldiers from 2nd Battalion, 1st Infantry Regiment, 2-2 Stryker Brigade Combat Team zero from a distance before perform the task themselves.
