The aircraft is one of two B-1s deployed alongside a B-52 Stratofortress from the 307th Bomb Wing, Air Force Reserve Command, Barksdale, Louisiana, to participate in Exercise Ample Strike 16 annual Czech Republic-led exercise with 300 participants from 18 countries scheduled for September 5-16. During Ample Strike, the B-52, B-1Bs, and Airmen from 2nd Air Support Operations Squadron, Vilseck, Germany, will conduct day and nighttime operations to improve NATO and partner nation interoperability.
