Sgt. 1st Class Jadia L. Scott, a movements noncommissioned officer with the 8th TSC, is presented the Ida B. Wells-Barnett Meritorious Community Service Award by Alphonso Braggs, president of the Honolulu-Hawaii chapter of the NAACP, during a luncheon Saturday, Sept. 3, at the Pearl Harbor-Hickam Officer’s Club. Eighteen service members were honored during the luncheon, which recognized their exceptional leadership and selfless community service while serving at military commands located in Guam, Hawaii, Japan and Korea.
