Marines enjoy Peruvian culture during bilateral training

U.S. Marine Sgt. Krhanmall Bracy, a food service specialist, and Sgt. Wesley Davison, a radio operator, both with Task Force Koa Moana, explore local shops in the streets of Lima, Peru, Sept. 4, 2016. Marines and sailors with the task force experienced Peruvian culture in order to have a better understanding of the country they are working hand in hand with in bilateral military training. Task Force Koa Moana is in Peru as part of a theater security cooperation engagement to integrate and improve interoperability with Peruvian Marines. Koa Moana is a U.S. Marine Corps-led exercise designed to enhance military ties with Honduras and several Pacific nations including Peru, Tahiti, Fiji, Vanuatu, Tonga, New Caledonia, Papua New Guinea, Timor-Leste and Guam.
