Marines enjoy Peruvian culture during bilateral training

U.S. Marine Cpl. James Trevino, a combat videographer with Task Force Koa Moana, takes a picture of his food in Lima, Peru, Sept 4, 2016. Marines and sailors with the task force experienced Peruvian culture in order to have a better understanding of the country they are working hand in hand with in bilateral military training. Task Force Koa Moana is in Peru as part of a theater security cooperation engagement to integrate and improve interoperability with Peruvian Marines. Koa Moana is a U.S. Marine Corps-led exercise designed to enhance military ties with Honduras and several Pacific nations including Peru, Tahiti, Fiji, Vanuatu, Tonga, New Caledonia, Papua New Guinea, Timor-Leste and Guam.
