Senior Airman Jesse Dillard, 332nd Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron metal technician, uses a mill to face down an aluminum block at Joint Base Balad, Iraq, May 21. The squadron's fabrication flight is composed of Airmen from three career fields -- structural maintenance, metals technology and nondestructive inspection. Their jobs are to maintain and fabricate aircraft components to keep planes in the air. Airman Dillard is a native of Haltom City, Texas, and is deployed form Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark.
