Crew members from Coast Guard Station Cortez, Florida, and Sarasota Fire and Rescue tend to David Defrates, 68, after he was medevaced from a commercial fishing boat, 40 miles southwest of Venice, Florida, Monday, Sept. 5, 2016. The crew of the charter fishing boat, Bad Habit, contacted the Coast Guard after Defrates fell unconscious during his Labor Day fishing trip.
