SAN SALVADOR, El Salvador (Aug. 30, 2016) – U.S. Navy Lt. Cmdr. Patrick McKenna Southern Partnership Station 2016’s (SPS 16) Medical Engagement Team (MET) leader, speaks with El Salvador’s Minister of Health, Elvia Violeta Menjivar after a question-and-answer seminar. The medical engagement team continues the SPS 16 mission in El Salvador after recently completing engagements in Honduras. SPS-16 is an annual deployment of U.S. ships to the U.S. Southern Command's area of responsibility in the Caribbean and Latin America.
