TSgt Nicholas Shanks, a contingency response aerial port supervisor, 821st Contingency Response Squadron, leads the President of the 2017 Tournament of Roses Parade, Mr. Brad Ratliff, and his wife Susan through the “line of fire” demonstration, Aug. 12, 2016, Travis AFB, Calif. Mr. Ratliff was at Travis to present the Tournament of Roses flag to the U. S. Air Force Band of the Golden West.
