DAHLGREN, Va. (Aug. 25, 2016) - Rear Adm. Lorin Selby is piped ashore after being relieved by Rear Adm. Tom Druggan as commander, Naval Surface Warfare Center in a time-honored change of command ceremony held on the NSWC Dahlgren Division Potomac River Test Range. NSWC comprises eight divisions that operate the Navy's full spectrum research, development, test and evaluation, engineering, and fleet support centers for offensive and defensive systems associated with surface warfare and related areas of joint, homeland and national defense systems from the sea.
