Petty Officer 1st Class Jason Snyder, aviation structural mechanic, from Wallowa, Ore., assigned to the Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training Unit Whidbey Island, explains hose-handling techniques to students during a flight deck fire fighting course at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island. The course is designed to provide Sailors the basic level of skill and knowledge required to handle fires aboard an aircraft or in the event of an aircraft crash.
