Recruits from India Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, climb a rope ladder during Confidence Course I at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Aug. 22. This was the first time the recruits got a chance to tackle the course, and they will return a couple more times before the end of training. This gives them the chance to accomplish the obstacles throughout training. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. India Company is scheduled to graduate Oct. 28.
