Marines of the Martial Arts Instructors Course bear crawl during the culminating event Aug. 17 aboard Marine Corps Air Station Futenma, Okinawa, Japan. The MAI trainees endured a grueling 15-day course that culminated in a physically and mentally tasking four-hour trek along Futenma’s famed Habu trail. During their hike, the Marines stop at multiple stations to complete rigorous exercises, buddy drags and carries, grappling and hand to hand combat.
